Lahore: Punjab government announces lockdown for 14 days in Sindh following coronavirus.
According to details, the Punjab government has announced lockdown in the province for two weeks. Lockdown announcement comes after cabinet committee meeting chaired by CM Punjab
Drugs and foodstuffs will remain open during lockdown in Punjab while double riding will be banned due to the seriousness of the situation. Lockdown will be applicable tomorrow
Chief Minister Punjab Usman Bazdar said at a press conference that the number of coronavirus patients in Punjab is 242, Lahore has 52 Rawalpindi and 3,3 patients in Jhelum. There is also a patient in Multan 2 and in Sargodha
He says the civil administration and the Pak army is busy serving the people. A tribute to doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, municipalities, and media representatives. Bazaar, shopping malls, and public places will be closed from 9am to 6pm tomorrow, Punjab will ban double rides in the public interest.
