Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to increase the subsidy for utility stores from 1.5 billion to 2.5 billion and take relief package to till Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to the details, Assistant Special Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan said in the statement that we will not leave our people in difficult times, we will try to provide facilities to the families.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Prime Minister Pakistan has officially launched the Cash Emergency Program, Rs. 12,000 will be given to every family through sense program, Rs. 144 billion is being distributed among the needy.
The Assistant Special Minister said that the federal government was distributing the funds to the beneficiaries with the help of the provincial governments,
He said that the Prime Minister has directed the utilization of the utility stores to be more effective.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that the Prime Minister has decided to take the relief package to till Eid-ul-Fitr. The subsidy will be extended to 19 essential items under the relief package.
The Assistant Special said that the relief package of utility stores has been increased from one and a half billion to two and a half billion.
He said that before the month of Ramadan, the availability of Utility Stores subsidized 19 items will be ensured.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said that even in the 1200 billion relief package, 50 billion has been set aside for utility stores.
