ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has convened a meeting of Vice Chancellors tomorrow in which the strategy for the examinations will be worked out. If the situation is not brought under control, the examinations will be held after July 15.
According to details, the Higher Education Commission has convened a meeting of Vice Chancellors tomorrow on the issue of closure of educational institutions till July 15 due to Corona. The meeting will be chaired by HEC Chairman Tariq Banuri.
The meeting will formulate a strategy for the examinations and will also consider a proposal to open some sectors of the universities once the corona is under control by May 31. If the situation is not brought under control, the examinations will be held after July 15.
Due to Corona, the formula for online examinations will also be considered, the HEC will send the proposals to the government after consultation and the final action plan will be announced after the approval of the federal government.
It may be recalled that All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association has rejected the cancellation of examinations and prolonged closure of educational institutions and said that the procedure for reopening of schools could be extended by one to two weeks. Go
