In Sindh, 19 Corona patients died in 24 hours, bringing the number to 299
KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has confirmed that 19 patients have died and 706 new cases of corona have been reported in 24 hours, bringing the death toll in the province to 299 while the total number of cases has risen to 17947.
According to details, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in a statement on the situation of coronavirus said that 19 patients died in Sindh within 24 hours, after which 299 patients have died from corona in the province so far.
Murad Ali Shah said that the condition of 135 patients in Sindh is critical and 34 patients are on ventilators. May God grant them health while 3803 corona tests were done in 34 hours.
Referring to the situation of Corona cases, the Chief Minister Sindh said that 706 new cases of Corona were reported in Sindh within 24 hours, bringing the total number of Corona cases to 17947.
He said that at present 12907 patients are undergoing treatment in the province, in 11373 homes, 819 centers and 715 hospitals. In Sindh, 252 more patients recovered and went home today, after which the number of those who recovered to 4741.
Murad Ali Shah said that out of 706 cases reported today, 558 new patients are from Karachi. On May 14, 15 and 16, flights arrived from Washington, Muscat and Jeddah. In these flights, 792 migrants were brought back to Pakistan. The results of the coronet test of 17 passengers are still pending.
