Lockdown in Sindh, Sindh Chief Minister will announce the next course of action today
KARACHI: The Sindh government will work hard for further easing of lockdown in Sindh, after which Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah will announce the next course of action through a press conference today.
According to details, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has summoned important ministers to the Chief Minister’s House.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has completed consultations with the party leadership while Bilawal Bhutto has given necessary instructions to Sindh Chief Minister. Sources said that the Sindh government has said that the lockdown will not be lifted but conditional opening of business can be allowed under SOPs.
The Chief Minister will announce the next course of action through a press conference today.
It may be recalled that the day before yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced to end the lockdown from Saturday and said that the provinces should make their own decisions, it is time to become responsible citizens and fight against corruption.
Later, Sindh Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided today by consensus. In some matters, powers have been given to the Sindh government. The Sindh government will form its own SOPs and implement them.
The Chief Minister will take the people into confidence on the Sindh lockdown. The Chief Minister and the Cabinet agree that first the life of the people and then the business are working on SOPs to open the business in phases.
