T20 World Cup likely to be postponed
JOHANNESBURG: Former South African captain and director Graeme Smith has predicted the postponement of the ICC T20 World Cup.
Former South African Test cricketer Graeme Smith has said that the T20 World Cup is likely to be postponed until early next year, according to a report by a foreign news agency.
“If it’s postponed until February, March next year, we’re constantly strategizing for future tours,” said Graeme Smith.
It should be noted that the ICC T20 World Cup is scheduled in Australia in October-November, while the important meeting of the ICC is scheduled to be held on May 28 regarding the World Cup.
