The decision on whether to ease the lockdown will be made on May 31
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the National Coordinating Committee on May 31 to decide whether to ease or tighten the lockdown.
According to details, a meeting of the National Coordinating Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held on May 31 in which federal ministers, chief ministers and concerned officials will participate. The meeting will consider the steps taken against Corona.
The meeting of the National Coordinating Committee will decide on the easing or tightening of the lockdown and the decisions will be ratified under the NCOC.
A meeting was held at the National Command and Operations Center under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Asad Umar in which Interior Minister Ejaz Shah, Dr. Zafar Mirza, Dr. Faisal Sultan, Coordinator COO Lt. Gen. Hamoodul Zaman Khan and other provincial chief secretaries of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan participated.
It was informed in the briefing that satisfactory measures are being taken to curb the spread of corona across the country. Beds, ventilators are available in large quantities in the country’s hospitals.
Most patients prefer home isolation.
Federal Minister Asad Omar had said that the citizens should be provided the latest data on the availability of bed bugs and ventilators.
Asad Umar said that the provinces should submit their recommendations to the NCOC by June 30. The NCOC meeting will be held on June 1 and decisions on June will be taken in the June 1 meeting.
