Nawabshah: The Sindh government has set up a laboratory in Sakrand area to prepare snake and dog bite vaccines.
According to News, the Sindh government has set up the first laboratory in Pakistan and the second in Asia in the Shaheed Benazirabad area to develop vaccines for dog and snake bites.
According to a statement issued by the Sindh government, the laboratory will prepare vaccines for the damage caused by dog and snake bites. The laboratory has been set up to meet the needs of the provincial government.
A case of a child named Hasnain was also reported from Larkana city of Sindh last year who was bitten by dogs and then the child died due to non-receipt of vaccine in time.
Hasnain was transferred from Larkana to the National Institute of Children’s Health in Karachi in December last year, where a 6-year-old boy lost his life after fighting a life-and-death battle for several days.
