Lahore: The Punjab government has allowed the University of Health Sciences to conduct examinations.
According to the details, the University of Health Sciences has allowed final air supplementary examinations for BDS, B.Sc Nursing, final air supplementary examinations for B.Sc Physiotherapy, Allied Health Sciences.
The Punjab government has given permission to the University of Health Sciences to conduct examinations. The notification issued by the University of Health Sciences said that the examinations would be conducted under Karuna SOPs. The Punjab government had last week canceled the MBBS supplementary examinations administered by the University of Health Sciences due to the corona epidemic. However, hundreds of MBBS final year students lost a year due to non-availability of supplementary examinations. To prevent this from happening, the government has now allowed supplementary examinations.
It may be recalled that Secretary Specialized Health Nabil Awan said that the Cabinet Committee on Corona had given permission for the supplementary examinations of MBBS Final Professional but other educational institutions including the University of Health Sciences would be bound to implement safety measures. ۔
