1.7 million tests for the diagnosis of corona in Pakistan, 263,000 positive, 5568 deaths
ISLAMABAD: The number of people infected with corona virus infection in Pakistan has increased to 263,496. Pakistan is the 12th country in the world out of 213 countries in terms of number of cases.
According to the details, 1,579 new cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, while 46 more patients have died. According to an update released by the National Command and Operations Center, the new and deadly virus has spread from Wid Nineteen across Pakistan. 263,496 people have been affected, while the death toll has risen to 5,568.
In terms of population in Pakistan, the corona virus statistics show that in the last few days, the death rate in 1 million people has risen from 24 to 25 percent, while the number of cases in 1 million people has also increased. The command center said that the highest number of deaths occurred in Punjab with 2,079, followed by Sindh with 1,974 deaths, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 1,139 deaths, Islamabad with 157 deaths, Balochistan with 131 deaths and Gilgit-Baltistan with 41 deaths. 47 deaths have been recorded in Azad Kashmir.
Sindh has the highest number of corona cases at 112,118, Punjab has 89,793 corona cases, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 31,890 cases, Islamabad has 14,576 cases, Balochistan has 11,424 cases and Gilgit-Baltistan has 1,807 corona cases. However, the number of cases in Azad Kashmir is 1,888.
During the last 24 hours, 22,559 krona tests were conducted in the country. According to the NCOC, 1,721,660 krona tests have been conducted in the country so far. 91,383 patients have recovered in Sindh, 65,436 in Punjab, 24,588 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 11,836 in Islamabad, 8,399 in Balochistan, 1,460 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1,174 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
