ISLAMABAD: The number of people infected with corona virus infection in Pakistan has increased to 234,509, making Pakistan the 12th country in the world out of 213 countries in terms of number of cases.
According to the details, 2,691 new cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, while 77 more patients have died. According to an update released by the National Command and Operations Center, the new and deadly virus has spread from Wid Nineteen across Pakistan. 234,509 people have been affected, while the death toll has risen to 4,839.
In terms of population in Pakistan, the statistics related to corona virus is such that in the last few days, the death rate in 1 million population has increased from 21 to 22%, while the number of cases in 1 million population has also increased. The tax was 1,061. The rate of coronavirus testing is 6,541 in a population of one million.
The number of patients currently undergoing treatment for corona in different cities of the country is 94,713, so far 134,957 patients have recovered from the disease caused by the virus, while the condition of 2,306 patients is critical. Across the country, 439 Corona patients are on ventilators, while 4975 Corona patients are being treated in 732 hospitals.
The command center said the highest death toll was in Punjab at 1,899, followed by Sindh at 1,572, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 1,038, Islamabad at 140, Balochistan at 124 and Gilgit-Baltistan at 30. 36 deaths have been recorded in Azad Kashmir.
Sindh has the highest number of corona cases at 96,236, Punjab has 82,669 corona cases, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 28,236 cases, Islamabad has 13,557 cases, Balochistan has 10,841 and Gilgit-Baltistan has 1,587 corona cases. However, the number of cases in Azad Kashmir is 1,383.
During the last 24 hours, 24,577 krona tests were conducted in the country. According to the NCOC, 1,445,153 krona tests have been conducted in the country so far. 53,855 patients have recovered in Sindh, 47,054 in Punjab, 16,549 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 9,403 in Islamabad, 6,131 in Balochistan, 1,224 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 741 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
