According to details, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar congratulated Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish people and the Muslim Ummah on Friday prayers after 86 years at the historic Hagia sophiaMosque in Istanbul.
Usman Bazdar said that it is a great pleasure to settle the floor of Masjid Hagia sophiaafter 86 years with prostrations.
The Punjab Chief Minister said that the echoes of Allah Akbar’s voices have been enlightened and the soulful scenes of prostration in the historic mosque can never be forgotten.
He said that a new history has been made in Masjid-e-Hagia Sophia today.
It is to be remembered that after 86 years, thousands of people offered Friday prayers at the Hagia Sophia Mosque in Istanbul. People arrived from all over Turkey to offer their prayers. Eid was celebrated on the streets of the city.
Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and other dignitaries were also present. The imam who delivered the sermon held the symbolic sword of the conquest of Constantinople.
