More than 300 new cases of coronavirus in Punjab
LAHORE: In the last 24 hours, 372 new cases of coronavirus have come to light in Punjab province while 5 patients have died. The highest number of coronavirus cases is in Lahore.
According to details, the spokesperson of Primary and Secondary Health Care said that 372 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Punjab province after which the number of coronavirus patients in the province has increased to 90,816.
The spokesman said 182 cases were reported in the provincial capital Lahore, 49 in Gujranwala, 21 in Faisalabad, 20 in Rawalpindi, 19 in Bahawalpur, 14 in Toba Tek Singh and 11 in Rajanpur.
According to the spokesperson, 8 cases were reported in Multan, 5 in Gujarat, Muzaffargarh, 5 in Dera Ghazi Khan and Mianwali, 4 in Attock, 3 in Jhelum and Sargodha, 2 in Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Sheikhupura, Bahawalnagar and Sahiwal. ۔
Similarly, 1 case was reported in Nankana Sahib, Vehari, Chiniot, Rahim Yar Khan, Khushab, Bhakkar, Lodhran, Layyah and Okara.
The spokesman said that five more deaths have been reported from the corona virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths in the province to 2,095.
So far 663,539 tests have been done in the province while 66,425 patients have recovered from the virus so far.
