ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held today. The Cabinet meeting was postponed due to the Assembly session yesterday.
According to details, a meeting of the federal cabinet will be held in Islamabad today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan. A 12-point agenda of the meeting has been released.
According to the agenda, the meeting of the federal cabinet will also consider the economic and political situation of the country, including the current situation of coronavirus, party issues, besides the issue of issuance of prohibited arms licenses by the Interior Ministry is also on the agenda.The agenda states that the decision to increase the pensions of EOBI pensioners will be taken by the federal cabinet. A visitor policy regulatory framework for Iran, Iraq and other countries will be presented. Change is also part of the agenda.
The meeting will include a briefing by the Federal Medical Teaching Institute Bill, National Health Reforms Task Force, the appointment of MD of Pakistan Software Export Board and ratification of decisions of ECC and Cabinet Energy Committees.
The meeting will also consider the approval of the auditors of the SECP for the financial year 2020 and the revision of guidelines for achieving the SD goals.
