KARACHI: For the third day in a row, monsoon rains lashed Sindh and ten people were killed in different incidents in Karachi, most of them due to electrocution.
According to details, 10 people lost their lives in different accidents during three days of rain in Karachi. On the third day of the fourth spell of monsoon, there was heavy rain with thunder and lightning in most parts of the city. The system is in disarray.
Roads began to look like ponds, traffic jams caused passengers to travel in minutes to hours. The rains started from the outskirts of the city followed by moderate to heavy rains across the city.
According to rescue sources and the administration, three people were electrocuted while a 12-year-old child drowned in rainwater.
According to reports, two people were electrocuted on Thursday evening, one person was electrocuted in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, a 13-year-old boy was electrocuted on Kitti hill and seven people were killed in different accidents on Friday.
One person died due to electrocution near Mewa Shah Cemetery, one died due to electrocution from shop shutters in Landhi No. 4, two persons died due to electrocution near City Kot and Civil Hospital.
A 6-year-old boy drowned in a river near Banaras Metro Cinema. A man was electrocuted in Malir Model Colony in the afternoon.
In addition, a youth was electrocuted in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13D. This morning, a man was electrocuted in Baldia Ittehad Town.
It should be noted that water is still available on various roads in Karachi after rains yesterday, rain water is standing on the roads in Old City area, rain water is still available at various places on Shara Faisal, Gora Cemetery Qayyumabad Road Korangi Due to the presence of water on the road, there is a lot of trouble in traffic.
