KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) witnessed a decline during the last business week, with the 100 Index hitting 39,000 points.Pakistan stock exchange today
According to the details, last week the Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 Index saw a decrease of 1378 points after which the 100 Index closed at 39,888 points.
During the week, the index declined by 3.20%, during which the highest level of the index was 41,927 points and the lowest level was 39,283 points.
During the last business week (October 26 to 30, 2020), 1 billion 870 million shares were traded, with a weekly turnover of over Rs. 65 billion.
Last week, the market capitalization also fell by Rs 246 billion to Rs 7,399 billion.
On the other hand, the SBP said that the country’s foreign exchange reserves also declined by 51 5.1 million last week.
According to the SBP, foreign exchange reserves stood at ارب 19.29 billion as of October 23, leaving the SBP with 12 12.12 billion in foreign exchange reserves.
