MQM Adil Siddiqui passed away due to corona

KARACHI: Former provincial minister and former MQM liaison committee member Adil Siddiqui has died at a private hospital in Karachi.
According to details, MQM Pakistan leader and former provincial minister Adil Siddiqui died due to corona infection. He was on a ventilator in a private hospital for some days.
Siddiqui’s funeral prayers were offered at the mosque adjacent to Yasinabad Cemetery. Funeral prayers were offered by MQM Coordinating Committee members, Wasim Aftab, Anis Advocate, Muhammad Hussain, relatives and area including former CPLC Chief Ahmed Chennai. Residents attended, after which Edhi volunteers under Karuna SOPs buried Adil Siddiqui in Yasinabad Cemetery.
United Leader Siddiqui arrived in Pakistan from Dubai on November 5 this month after a long exile, after which he contracted the corona virus. According to his family, he was admitted to the intensive care unit of a private hospital a week ago due to ill health. Transferred to Vanity Fair, he was also diagnosed with liver cancer.
Adil Siddiqui was suffering from liver cancer and lung disease. After returning home, he could not be active in the MQM due to ill health. Siddiqui, a key member of the former MQM liaison committee, former member of the Assembly and He has been the Provincial Minister of Commerce and Transport and Labor.

Other political leaders have expressed their condolences to the family.
Siddiqui was 57 years old. He was born in Karachi in 1963 and graduated from Karachi University. He was the provincial minister from 2002 to 2007. He was also a minister in the 2008 provincial government. Siddiqui had been in exile in Dubai since 2016 and had returned home a few days earlier. He had been suffering from lung and other ailments for many years. Due to various ailments, Adil Siddiqui used to take doctors and oxygen cylinders with him while traveling in the country and abroad.
It may be recalled that on November 13 this year, Sindh Assembly member Jam Madad Ali also passed away due to corona virus. Jam Madad Ali was elected to the PPP seat from Sanghar at the age of 57. He was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Karachi.
A day earlier, Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth had also died due to corona infection. He was undergoing treatment at Kulsoom International Hospital, Islamabad. He is one of the judges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who Decisions were made in important cases and lawyers considered these decisions ‘bold’.
