ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he is committed to making Pakistan green and clean and is taking steps to tackle climate change.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan said in an article for the World Economic Forum that the world needs to take immediate action on climate change and Pakistan is ranked 5th among the countries affected by climate change in the world.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan is committed to make it Pakistan green and clean, planting billions of trees to tackle climate change and finding natural solutions to climate change.

Imran Khan said that climate change is a threat to the world and no country is safe from the effects of climate change, Pakistan is ready to play a role in tackling climate change around the world.
He said that many developed countries are facing the negative effects of climate change and Pakistan is taking steps to tackle climate change, planted one billion trees in KP and is now committed to plant 10 billion trees, due to climate change. We need 7-14 billion a year to deal with that.
The Prime Minister said that 85,000 safe green jobs Pakistan green and clean should be created during the lockdown, which includes tree planting, protection of natural environment and sanitation.
Imran Khan also consulted Malik Amin Aslam on the NWF article. Malik Amin Aslam also highlighted Pakistan’s position in the World Economic Forum.
