LAHORE: Punjab Education Minister Dr Murad Rass has said about Schools Closed again in Pakistan that the number of corona cases has increased in the last week, but the situation is under control and no decision has been taken yet to close schools.

According to details, Punjab Education Minister Dr. Murad Ross in his statement on social networking website Twitter regarding schools said that corona situation is being assessed on daily basis, corona test is being conducted daily in schools across Punjab.

Murad Ross said that coronas cases have increased in the last week, but the situation is under control, no decision has been taken to close schools in Punjab, it is very important to ensure implementation of SOPs.

It is believed that with the onset of the second wave of corona, the number of corona cases is also increasing in schools. The coroner was confirmed by the teacher of Government Girls High School, Napier Road, Lahore.

The school administration said that the affected teacher has been quarantined at home while more than 40 students and staff will be tested on contact with the teacher.

It should be noted that 283 new cases of corona virus were reported in Punjab in 24 hours, after which the number of corona cases in the province rose to 104554.

A healthcare spokesman said three more people had died in Corona, bringing the death toll to 2,365, while the number of those who lost Corona rose to 97,471.
