Babar Azam ruled out of the T20 series against New Zealand

LAHORE: National cricket team captain Babar Azam has been ruled out of the T20 series against New Zealand.

According to details, Babar Azam has been ruled out of the series due to a fractured thumb of his right hand. The captains of the national team will not be able to practice in the net for at least 12 days.

The three T20s between the two teams are scheduled to be played on December 18, 20 and 22.

On the other hand, the Pakistan team is determined to win the T20 series against New Zealand for the third time in a row. The national players held a three-hour long training session in Queenstown.

Apart from net practice, the players also took part in physical training and fielding practice. The two-day intra-squad practice match of Pakistan Shaheens in Queenstown has also been completed.

The Shaheens will leave tomorrow to play their only four-day match against New Zealand A.
