ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tobacco Company has announced to set up a BPO in Pakistan. The project will create more than 3,000 jobs in five years and generate 100 million in foreign exchange revenue annually.
According to details, Trade Adviser Abdul Razzaq Dawood in his statement on social networking website Twitter said that Pakistan Tobacco Company has announced to set up NABPO, the company has transferred business process outsourcing to Pakistan, Pakistan is competing with India, Bangladesh and other countries. Abdul Razzaq Dawood said that the project will create more than 3000 jobs in 5 years while the project will also act as a talent incubator.
He added that the project would also increase Pakistan’s services exports and generate ڈالر 100 million in foreign exchange annually.
The Trade Adviser thanked the British American Tobacco and Pakistan Tobacco and said that it was the first multinational company to transfer business process outsourcing to Pakistan.
