ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister will address the summit today on the completion of five years of the Paris Agreement
According to details, the World Climate Action Summit will be held in the UK today. The Prime Minister will address the summit today on the completion of five years of the Paris Agreement. Imran Khan has been selected for the address due to his environment friendly policies.
According to sources, the Prime Minister will make two important announcements in his address to world leaders. The Prime Minister will present his views on the Billion Tree Project and the environment.
In his address, the Prime Minister will also announce a nationwide coal utilization policy.
Sources said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s virtual address to the Climate Ambition Summit will be four to five minutes long. According to Pakistani time, the Prime Minister’s address will be broadcast tonight at around 8 pm. The British Prime Minister will also address the Climate Action Summit.
It should be noted that the World Environment Agreement was signed in Paris in 2015, in which it was agreed to take steps to protect the world from the dangers of climate change.
The agreement aims to keep global warming below two degrees Celsius by this century and to take steps to bring global temperatures down to 1.5 degrees Celsius.
