Washington: US President Donald Trump intended to impose martial law on the country over his possible defeat, US media reported in its report.
According to a foreign news agency, the media report said that Trump and his advisers had considered imposing martial law in the country.
The report says President Donald Trump and some of his advisers discussed the possibility Trump Martial Law of imposing martial law to overturn the results of the November presidential election.
Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn attended a meeting at the White House on Friday, the report said. He was pardoned by President Trump last month after Flynn was found guilty of lying to the FBI.
Speaking to the media on Thursday, Flynn said the president should hold re-elections in troubled states by deploying troops, adding that martial law is not something that has never been seen before.
The media also reported that President Trump had considered Trump Martial Law appointing lawyer Sidney Powell as a special officer to investigate vote fraud, who claimed that there was widespread fraud in the election.
The proposal was reportedly strongly supported by White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and other advisers.
On the other hand, President Trump denied the reports on the social networking site Twitter yesterday, calling the news about martial law misreporting.
