Karachi: It has been proposed to open educational institutions across the country in three phases and conduct board examinations in the last week of May.
According to details, the agenda of the meeting of inter-provincial education ministers has been released. The meeting will be held on January 4, 2021 under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood.

The forthcoming meeting will also review the national education policy and approve the opening of educational institutions.
Yesterday, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood in a meeting with representatives of private educational institutions had sought time till January 4 to decide on the reopening of schools and said that a decision would be taken on January 4 at a meeting of inter-provincial education ministers and NCOC.
Shafqat Mehmood said that educational institutions cannot be opened without the suggestions of the Ministry of Health. We have to look after the health of children, teachers and staff. The decision to open educational institutions will be taken on the briefing of the Ministry of Health.
