Sugar price reached Rs 100, ghee price has risen sharply

Lahore: The price of sugar has gone up again. In a week, the price of Sugar price has reached Rs 100. After the increase in the price of sugar, the ghee price in Lahore has also gone up by Rs 20 per kg.
According to the details, people are once again burdened with the prices of essential commodities. The price of Sugar price has gone up to Rs 100 in a week. Shopkeepers and domestic consumers are facing difficulties due to rising sugar prices.
The Sugar price has gone up from Rs 80 to Rs 100. Due to non-availability of sugar at the controlled rate, small shopkeepers stopped selling sugar.
Rising sugar prices, as well as unavailability of it in shops, has become a major problem for the people who are worried about inflation. Despite clear instructions from Prime Minister Imran Khan to control the price of sugar, the concerned agencies have their responsibilities. They seem to be failing to do so, which is why the people are not getting relief.
On the other hand, after the increase in sugar prices, the price of ghee in Lahore has also gone up by Rs 20 per kg. The rise in prices of essential commodities has caused severe distress to consumers.
The price of ghee has skyrocketed and in a few days the price of ghee of different brands has gone up from Rs 20 to Rs 40 per kg. The price of ghee of different companies has gone up from Rs 220 to Rs 265 per kg.
Shopkeepers say that the owners and dealers of ghee mills have reduced the supply of ghee and increased the price and the price control committees are nowhere to be seen. If the government does not take notice, the price of ghee is likely to go up further.
