Corona confirmed in PSL 6 three players and one official

Karachi: Three players in PSL 6 and one official in Corona have been confirmed.

According to News, Fawad Ahmed and Louis Gregory of Islamabad United fell victim to Corona, while Tom Benton of Quetta Gladiators also tested positive for Corona.

Karachi Kings fielding coach Kamran Khan also contracted corona virus. All three players and fielding coach Kamran Khan have been immediately quarantined for ten days.

Sources said that the members affected by Corona will be able to rejoin the teams after completing quarantine after two negative results.


It is to be noted that the Australian spinner of Islamabad United Fawad Ahmed was infected with Corona virus yesterday after which the match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators was postponed for one day.

On the other hand, the Cricket Board has started taking immediate steps to save Pakistan’s biggest event PSL from the global epidemic.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to repeat the PCR testing every four days to keep the PSL free of code nineteen, with the most stringent measures being taken with the cooperation of all franchises.
