PESHAWAR: The roof of Peshwar’s Bus Fast Transit’s underpass has began leaking as a result of heavy rains. In response to a report by Geo.television, the leakage, along with the non-availability of a drainage system within the underpass, has led to the buildup of water within the underpass.

A spokesman for Trans Peshawar stated that the Peshawar Improvement Authority is working to repair the problem of leakage within the underpasses.

“It’s the job of the Peshawar Improvement Authority to maintain the BRT’s development work,” the spokesperson stated, including that  Trans Peshawar is just accountable for overseeing the operational affairs of the bus service.

“The Peshawar Improvement Authority is engaged on water leakage within the underpasses as a result of which Feeder Route 3, 5, 6, and seven are briefly suspended,” the spokesperson stated. “Nevertheless, providers on the BRT Central Hall are working with out interruptions.”
