A mine in Balochistan’s Harnai District collapsed on Tuesday taking the lives of seven miners who have been working inside, Geo Information reported.

This was the second incident within the province this week. Chief Inspector of Mines Shafqat Fayyaz mentioned a build-up of methane fuel within the mine brought on an explosion as the employees have been nonetheless inside.

The rescue groups initiated an operation and recovered the our bodies of all of the miners. The minerals secretary ordered an investigation into the incident and registration of a case in opposition to the mine supervisor and the contractor for negligence.
