ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday stated the centre will guarantee police and forms in Sindh are ‘cleansed’ of politics.
The prime minister stated this throughout a gathering with PTI Sindh chief Haleem Adil Sheikh, who was lately launched from jail on bail.
The prime minister had referred to as Sheikh for a gathering in Islamabad after he was launched lately.
Citing sources, Geo Information reported Sheikh knowledgeable the prime minister in regards to the state of affairs of jails in Sindh. “In Sindh, forms can be concerned in politics,” the PTI chief advised PM Imran Khan.
“We’ll cleanse the Sindh Police and forms of politics,” the prime minister was quoted by sources as saying.
Sheikh was launched after bail was granted by the Sindh Excessive Courtroom in two instances. He had been ordered to submit two surety bonds of Rs0.2 million every.
On February 16, the PTI chief was arrested for allegedly bringing weapons to the by-elections in Karachi and for interfering with an operation towards encroachments.
The case associated to the PS-88 by-elections was registered over his alleged involvement in a brawl that passed off between PPP and PTI employees. The case towards the Sindh opposition chief was registered on the Memon Goth Police Station in District Malir. Anti-terror and different provisions had been included within the first info report (FIR).
The opposite case associated to the disruption he brought about in an anti-encroachment drive at a Karachi farmhouse.
