KARACHI: Sindh Schooling Minister Saeed Ghani on Wednesday introduced that colleges within the province will stay open as per schedule.
The provincial training minister was chatting with Geo Information when he stated all private and non-private colleges will stay open in Sindh because the state of affairs of the coronavirus “is beneath management”.
It was been determined within the assembly that colleges in 9 districts of Punjab will stay closed until April 11, 2021.
Ghani, then again, denied any such transfer can be carried out in Sindh. “The state of affairs [of the coronavirus] in Sindh and Balochistan for the time being is beneath management.” stated the PPP chief.
“I am unable to communicate for Balochistan however in Sindh, colleges will stay open as per schedule,” he stated.
The minister stated even in Punjab, colleges aside from these of the 9 districts would stay open. He stated the coronavirus state of affairs in Punjab was alarming, in comparison with Sindh and Balochistan.
He stated the coronavirus positivity ratio in Sindh on Tuesday was 2.6%, which was not excessive.
