The Tableeghi Jamaat’s administration on Tuesday determined to postpone its annual Ijtema which was imagined to be held in Islamabad from April 1-4.

This was introduced by the Minister for Inside Sheikh Rasheed on Twitter. The minister stated he had requested the non secular organisation to postpone the occasion owing to a surge in COVID-19 instances.

“I’m very grateful to the Administration of “Tableeghi Jamaat” that ON MY REQUEST, they’ve postponed their annual ‘IJTEMA’ in Islamabad, scheduled from 1st to 4th April. The request was made in view of the growing instances of COVID-19 within the Metropolis. #NCOC #COVID19,” he tweeted.

The Ijtema was imagined to be held within the metropolis from April1-4.

Islamabad has seen an increase in coronavirus instances because the third wave of the virus intensifies throughout the nation.
