Saudi Arabia authorities mentioned Monday they’d sighted the Ramadan moon and that the holy month would start from April 13.

Following the sighting of the moon, April 12 marked the final day of the month of Shabaan.

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais, head of the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques — Makkah’s and Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) mosques — mentioned the Taraweeh prayers could be shortened from 20 to 10 raka’ts amid coronavirus.

Pakistan to sight moon tomorrow

Earlier within the day, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad mentioned the committee would meet tomorrow (Tuesday) in Peshawar to sight the Ramadan moon

Chatting with Geo Information, Maulana Azad mentioned the committee had additionally prolonged an invite to Mufti Popalzai to attend the assembly.
