ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Excessive Courtroom (IHC) on Tuesday dismissed the bail plea of the prime suspect in a case pertaining to the alleged gang-rape of a meals supply boy at a personal college in Islamabad.
Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of the IHC introduced the decision over the bail plea, ordering the dismissal and consequent arrest of the suspect, Ibrahim Khan.
Implementing the judicial orders, the police arrested Khan exterior the courtroom proper after the listening to.
The alleged gang-rape
A 22-year-old meals supply boy was allegedly gang-raped at a personal college’s campus in June 2021.
As reported by Geo Information, a professor on the varsity, Dr Mushtaq, had written a letter to the college’s rector, demanding a probe into the matter.
“The culprits concerned within the incident must be penalised as an alternative of overlaying up the crime,” wrote Mushtaq within the letter.
Later, the college’s self-discipline committee expelled two college students, Ibrahim Khan and Mehmood Ashraf, on the idea of suspicion.
