NEW DELHI: The flight knowledge recorder and cockpit voice recorder of the Indian Air Power Mi-17V5 that crashed Wednesday in Coonoor with 14 individuals on board, together with India’s Chief of Defence Employees (CDS) Common Bipin Rawat and his spouse, have been recovered from the crash web site Thursday, Indian media reported.
13 out of 14 individuals, together with Chief of Defence Employees Common Bipin Rawat and her spouse, had been killed when an Indian Air Power (IAF) helicopter crashed in Tamil Nadu’s Coonoor Wednesday.
Captain Varun Singh is the only survivor of the crash who’s at the moment beneath therapy at a navy hospital.
“Gp Capt Varun Singh SC, Directing Employees at DSSC with accidents is at the moment beneath therapy at Navy Hospital, Wellington,” the IAF had tweeted in regards to the sole survivor of the crash.
“With deep remorse, it has now been ascertained that Gen Bipin Rawat, Mrs Madhulika Rawat and 11 different individuals on board have died within the unlucky accident,” the Indian Air Power (IAF) had introduced on Twitter.
Quickly after the helicopter crash, the safety forces had sealed the world and launched investigations into the incident.
