ISLAMABAD: The federal authorities Saturday eliminated Petroleum Division Secretary Dr. Arshad Mehmood from his submit.
As per particulars, Energy Division Secretary Ali Raza Bhutta has been assigned the extra cost of the submit of secretary Petroleum Division until the posting of a daily bureaucrat.
“Dr. Arshad Mehtemper a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, presently posted as Secretary Petroleum Division, is transferred and directed to report back to the Institution Division,” learn a notification issued by the Institution Division.
Arshad Mehmood, nonetheless, has not been assigned any posting, Daybreak.com reported.
One other notification of the Institution Division concerning the extra cost of Mr Bhutta stated, “Ali Raza Bhutta, a BS-22 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service presently posted as Secretary Energy Division, is assigned further cost of the submit of Secretary Petroleum Division for a interval of three months or until the posting of normal incumbent; whichever is earlier, and with rapid impact.”
No motive has been given for the sudden removing of the Petroleum Division secretary by the federal government.
